“Truth is: I can’t put into words what I have felt in Brasil. I can take thousands of photographs and talk about my experiences for hours, but neither will capture the essence of Brasil. My stomach was in knots when I left my country and family. Now the tables have turned and my stomach is in knots just thinking about leaving Brasil. I strongly encourage anyone interested the FIPSE program to PURSUE it!  I have formed lifetime friendships, learned a new language, experienced a beautiful/colorful culture, traveled to breathtaking places and grown personally. I have learned completely new perspectives in agriculture, sustainability practices, production methods, new species and countless other things. These 5 months have been truly priceless and I’m forever thankful. The culture and people of Brasil will always have a piece of my heart and I cannot wait to return.”
