“I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when I boarded the plane heading for Brazil.  My nerves were quickly put at ease as I was welcomed with open arms by the wonderful people I met and quickly fell in love with the FZEA campus and Brazil. Taking several courses and assisting with research projects gave me a new and different perspective which has helped me with my academic career.  The opportunity to see and understand the agricultural practices of another country has provided me with valuable insight to the agricultural industry, and I am excited to continue learning about international agriculture as a whole. I whole-heartedly believe more people should take advantage of the FIPSE-CAPES program.”
